Why Inner Inklings?

The name Inner Inklings reflects the heart of this practice: listening to the quiet whispers within us that guide our thoughts, emotions, and growth. Often, these inklings are overshadowed by life’s noise, but they hold the key to clarity, balance, and healing. This practice is about creating a safe space where you can tune into those inner voices, explore them with care, and transform them into meaningful steps toward a fulfilling life. 

Hi, I’m Aparna Dhiman, the founder and psychologist behind Inner Inklings. I’m so glad you’re here.

I believe every person is unique, which is why I take a personalized approach to therapy. By combining evidence-based techniques with genuine empathy and understanding, I help my clients navigate life’s challenges at a pace that feels right for them. Together, we focus on building resilience, cultivating self-compassion, and finding solutions that truly align with your needs and goals.

I hold an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and a B.Sc. in Psychology, Yoga, and Environmental Science. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care, and I have successfully cleared the UGC NET-JRF and GATE in Psychology. Additionally, I hold a diploma in counseling and psychotherapy tailored to the Indian context.

With over two years of experience in private practice and more than five years as an educator, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their challenges, and guiding students in workshops and classrooms.

As a lifelong learner, I am deeply committed to continually enhancing my skills and knowledge to grow as a psychologist. This commitment ensures that I can provide the best possible support to those I work with, while staying attuned to evolving practices in the field of psychology

When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, painting, and volunteering at animal shelters. I also find great inspiration in nature’s healing power, which I thoughtfully incorporate into my work to foster deeper growth and connection.
